About
When Kursaal Oostende temporarily closed its doors for an internal rebuild, we were commissioned to produce a campaign marking this transitional moment.
Together with director Lore Loyens, we chose a bold and cinematic approach rather than a purely explanatory one. Inspired by the building’s unique location along the Belgian coastline, Lore challenged herself to work extensively with CGI — using a flowing stream of sand to quite literally breathe life back into the iconic structure, visually connecting the beach to the interior space.
As one of Belgium’s most recognisable cultural landmarks, the Kursaal deserved a reopening campaign that felt both monumental and poetic.
The film was brought to life by a small but highly talented crew, proving that strong ideas and sharp execution can create powerful results at any scale.
